Efficient Air & Rail Services
Flanders meets the needs of business travel with frequent and efficient connections to other European and world cities. Within Europe, the business traveler has the option of using air services through Brussels International Airport or of making the journey by high-speed train.
By air
Located at Zaventem, just eight miles from the center of Brussels, the city’s international airport offers a wide variety of European and international flights. Most European destinations are within two hours’ flying time. The recent completion of two new terminals and two new international piers have made the airport among the most modern in Europe, and the facilities offered include meeting rooms and other business facilities.

The smaller Deurne Airport at Antwerp offers business travelers passenger flights to a limited number of European destinations, including London City. The airport also offers fully equipped meeting rooms and other business services. Terminal facilities are currently undergoing redevelopment.
By rail
Both Brussels and Antwerp are on Europe’s high-speed train network and offer services or connections to 19 other cities on the high-speed system. Eurostar takes less than two hours to London and there are some 9 services a day from Brussels. Thalys connects Brussels and Paris in one hour 22 minutes and operates through Antwerp to Amsterdam as well as to other cities such as Cologne. Eurostar and Thalys both offer corporate programs for business travel.
